built on decades of science. Designed for how teens live today.
Navi wasn’t built on guesswork. Every feature and user flow is grounded in science and based on human-centered design.
Navi’s Mini Activities are known as Single Session SupportsTeens create action plans through self-guided, evidence-based mini activities.
Those mini activities are also known as Single Session Supports, which have been studied and refined for nearly 50 years. Navi co-founder Dr. Jessica Schleider has spent more than a decade advancing the science of digital, self-guided single session interventions for young people.
Dr. Schleider has published over 100 peer reviewed studies on Single Session approaches. In other words - she knows what it takes to make these actually help. 😉
Our Scientific ApproachNavi’s mini-activities draw on findings from more than 415 clinical trials examining what makes a single-session program helpful.
This research suggests that even a brief experience can make a meaningful difference when it focuses on a clear goal, offers a concrete strategy, and helps young people recognize their own strengths and capacity for change.
Uniquely NaviEach of Navi’s proprietary Single Session Supports target a modifiable, short-term belief or behavior where improvements spur long-term positive change.
Navi’s mini-activities are original programs created exclusively for Navi. They cannot be found anywhere else, because every activity is built with and for Navi users.
We combine teens’ insights from our Youth Advisory Board, rigorous science frameworks, and Navi’s technology to create support that feels relevant, engaging, and easy to use in everyday life. Each activity is designed from the ground up for the Navi experience.
All of Navi's Mini Activities are:
Navi's mini-activity library grows in the direction teens tell us matter most; every activity is designed by experts and with Navi users.
Navi’s technology is also designed to bring these activities into the places where teens spend time and seek support. Our programs can be integrated into multiple technology environments and adapted for schools, community organizations, health plans, and health systems. This includes environments with distinct technical, privacy, security, and implementation requirements, including HIPAA-regulated healthcare settings.
Every moment with Navi is built to matterAny teen can use Navi. No diagnosis, referral, or ongoing program is required. Teens can turn to a mini-activity whenever they want help with a challenge, a difficult feeling, or a decision about what to do next.
Each activity is designed to offer something useful in that moment, regardless of what comes before or after. When a teen needs or wants more support, Navi can also connect them with relevant local resources.
With Dr. Schleider’s scientific guidance, Navi works directly with teens and communities to understand the problems young people face and create activities that fit their lives. Every interaction is designed to leave a teen with something they can carry forward.
What Navi is - and what it isn’t.
